To phrase it simply, Carter Yokoyama is the best! I have been his patient since he started practicing in Kona and I have been taken better care of by him than any other dentists I saw over a fifty-five year period.
Recently I had porcelain veneers put on my top front teeth, and it is a joy to smile. I especially like it when people tell me that I have pretty teeth. He is a perfectionist and it shows!
Two other points of interest are #1 you never have to wait for your appointment. If they schedule you for 1:15 PM, you are seen at 1:15 PM. and #2, everyone I have referred over the years has thanked me profusely.

Dear Dr. Yokoyama and Staff,
I have been wearing dentures for many years and was beginning to have serious problems. It was difficult to chew, speaking clearly became a problem as the bottom denture was loose. Additionally, my appearance was affected as my gums had receded quite a bit and my face appeared sunken and the wrinkles around my mouth were more pronounced.
After a consultation with Dr. Yokoyama we decided implants would be the best way to go. It was a lengthy process, but the results were well worth it. I can actually eat an apple without cutting it into small pieces. When I am speaking or lecturing at my church, I am confident that I will not have any difficulty. My appearance was enhanced as well. As a matter of fact quite often I am told I have a terrific smile. Thank you Dr. Yokoyama and staff!

I recently had work done by Dr. Yokoyama and his staff, and I am really quite pleased with the results. After being told several times that braces were the only way to correct my teeth. I was determined to find someone with an alternative solution.
